HPX-1600 Models

The HPX-1600 is available as 17 models designed to meet many networking requirements. The HPX-1600 models are determined by the inclusion or exclusion of factory fitted daughter boards.

  • SDH/SONET daughter card (SDC)
  • 3 port DS3/E3 mapper
  • 28 port E1/T1 mapper
  • 8 port 10/100 Base-T Ethernet mapper
  • 8 port E-line Switch (Ethernet mapper with Layer 2 VLAN cababilities)
Haliplex Part N0 Product Description
HPX-1600-IA HPX-1600 voice and data multiplexer base unit with Integrated Access software, Digital Access Cross-Connect System (DACS) software, 16 hot-swappable data, Ethernet, or voice Interface Module slots. Note: External power supply not included. This model does not support mapper daughter-cards.
